WordPress based:
- Our mission was to create and display a digital exhibit of then and now photographs depicting the University of Mary Washington’s Fredericksburg campus dating from the school’s establishment in 1908 through the present time. We also did our best to provide context for each of the photos in an effort to portray the evolution of student life and campus structure. The site has a responsive child theme, which I created, featuring multiple plugins with customized elements designed and incorporated by myself.
My Digital Resume (this website)
- Features a child theme I created to display the custom design changes I wanted to make to the original theme.
A History of the Ferris Wheel (University of Mary Washington HIST 325: American Technology and Culture, Spring 2013)
- The group project for HIST 325 was to create a website about an American invention. I built the website and customized the WordPress theme the website uses.

Textual Analysis of Doctor Who (University of Mary Washington DGST 101: Introduction to Digital Studies, Fall 2014)
- I hand-coded this site for an assignment called “Digital Textuality” in my Introduction to Digital Studies course. The goals of this assignment were to use some software to analyze and draw conclusions about some cultural text and to use HTML to code a web-based essay that communicates the findings of that analysis. As you can see on my webpage, I hand-coded both the HTML and CSS, as well as used the digital tool Voyant to analyze my texts.
Andrew Reid’s Online Portfolio (George Mason University ENGL 375: Web Authoring and Design, Summer 2012)
- The first website I created was the final project for GMU’s ENGL 375. My professor suggested making an online portfolio for ourselves, however, I chose to make an online portfolio site for a friend of mine who is currently pursuing a BFA at George Mason. The original site was taken down since I was only a summer student at GMU, but this is what it looked it. (The links to his writings are just placeholders to show where they were.)
