I am an Entry-Level Instructional Technology Specialist (ITS) in the Division of Teaching and Learning Technology (DTLT) at the University of Mary Washington (UMW). As an alum of UMW, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the institution by working with faculty throughout various disciplines to integrate digital tools into their courses. I graduated from UMW in May of 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and minor in Digital Studies with Summa Cum Laude honors. During my undergraduate years I was also inducted into several honor societies including Phi Beta Kappa (The Nation’s Oldest Academic Honor Society), Phi Alpha Theta (National History Honor Society), and Pi Gamma Mu (International Honor Society in Social Sciences), all of which I still belong to.
I created this digital resume website using WordPress and creating a child theme through UMW’s project, A Domain of One’s Own, which is a project that allows UMW students, faculty, and staff to register their own domain name and associate it with a space on a UMW-managed Web server.
