Description

For my final project, I redesigned Apple’s Weather app. The 2018 version of the app included basic forecast information but falls short when users need detailed information especially during severe weather events, leaving them to seek answers elsewhere.

I conducted user research including user demographics, persona creation, user interviews, and scenario creation. The central scenario that emerged: a user searching for real-time hurricane information.

Taking the project from initial sketches through paper, low-fidelity, and high-fidelity prototypes, the work included usability testing, annotated final designs, and a video walkthrough. Scroll down to explore the design progression and full presentation.
